3D FACE DESIGN

A functional layout of phosphorescent 3D hour markers, along with three inset dials and two windows, gives the multi-layered dial excellent visibility.

GPS

A hybrid system receives GPS satellite radio waves and terrestrial radio waves (Multi Band 6), both inside and outside buildings, and displays the correct time anywhere in the world

FINE RESIN FRAME

A high-rigidity fine resin frame is installed to support the case. The case's thickness is minimized to permit maintenance of the optimal G-SHOCK size and slimness.

TRIPLE G RESIST

The pursuit of durability required for use in severe cockpit environments resulted in this original tough structure that withstands shocks, centrifugal gravity and vibrations, three basic types of gravitational acceleration.

SIX-MOTOR DRIVE

Six motors achieve nimble operation by driving the hands and disks independently. A disk at 6 o'clock and a disk inset dial are driven by two dual-coil motors, a system that enables original hand movements with speedier display times and varied hand movement speeds.

SHADOW-DISPERSING SOLAR PANEL

A shadow-dispersing solar panel achieves superior power-generation efficiency.

LED LIGHT

A high-brightness LED light is installed to ensure vivid lighting for reading the dial and outstanding visibility in dark places.

CARBON FIBER SECOND HAND

Use of a carbon-fiber material with low specific gravity for the second hand makes it possible to enlarge the hand while maintaining its impact resistance.

BAND/CASE ATTACHMENT

The band is connected securely to the case with 2.3mm diameter screws inserted from either side with 1.5 times the conventional tightening torque. The housing pipes rotate freely to reduce the possibility of loosening due to vibrations.

CARBON FIBRE-REINFORCED RESIN BAND

Fine resin parts (FRP) are installed at both ends of the band shaft and fixed with carbon FRP stoppers, strengthening the connections between case and band.

CROWN SWITCH

The large forge-molded side buttons convey a dignity indicative of the watch’ s tough construction while generating a quality feel through their metal material.

MAGNETIC RESISTANCE

A magnetic-resistant plate installed in the module prevents stoppage of shifting of the hands due to magnetic forces.
