Use of a carbon-fiber material with low specific gravity has made it possible to enlarge the second hand while maintaining its resilience to shocks. The hand moves quickly to provide reliable indications for various functions.
The band is connected securely to the case with 2.3mm diameter screws inserted from either side with 1.5 times the conventional tightening torque. The housing pipes rotate freely to reduce the possibility of loosening due to vibrations.
