My Acccount

My name is Jordan. I own a GL-7200 model G-Shock. My first watch was a G-Shock my dad gave me in the 80's. I loved that watch. I have collected watches my whole life, and as I've grown older, the watches I preferred became more expensive, and obscure.

I am a Rescue Diver, and I work in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) as well, so I have very specific needs in a watch. The water around where I live is very dark and cold, so I needed a dive watch that is easy to read in the absolute dark, and is resistant to rust, shock, and cold.

On the MRI side of things, plainly I needed a watch that is not analog (the magnetics will pull all the little moving parts into oblivion), and also be solar driven (the MRI seems to eat batteries for lunch). I have gone through a number of watches in these conditions, not to mention a lot of money.

I remembered the watch my dad gave me long ago, and went out on a hunt for the perfect G-Shock. I found the GL-7200, and a match was born. This watch has performed for me in a way that no other watch has. Not one issue yet with diving, or in the MRI room.

I am no longer a watch collector... I am now a G-Shock collector. The GW5600BCJ-1, the GW9000A-1, the DW5025B-7V, and the GW9100-1 are all on my list. I only wish I could still get a Frogman.

Thank you for the excellent product at an affordable price. It makes them easy to collect.

I'll never go back. G-Shock forever.
