I bought a new G-Shock in September 1993 and still wear it to work. It has the original battery and still keeps perfect time. I have been through about 6 bands and now have duct tape holding the band together. I didn't know if anyone else had one with the same batter in it. By the way, my wife just gave me a new G-Shock for Christmas to wear when we go out.
