Approached to design an in-store environment for Casio America's Timepiece Division, Loran Associates looked no further than its client's own product, G-Shock watches. The watches are marketed as a "fusion of function and fashion". From there, the design for the new "Concept Shop" that opening at New York City's Tourneau was created.
The overall design of the "Concept Shop" was a collaboration of Loran Associates and Casio America's, John Garlette, Director of Strategic Events. The design captures the essence of the G-Shock watch by having the functionality of a retail space while achieving the aesthetic appeal of fashion. "The idea behind this design was taken directly from G-Shock's marketing campaign.
